Donations

Donors assist the Atlanta Freedom Bands fulfill its mission to provide outstanding entertainment and an opportunity for creative musical expression. 

Any contribution is highly valued and greatly appreciated. All donations are tax deductible as we are recognized by the IRS as a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization. Please consider a donation to the Atlanta Freedom Band in one of the following categories:

  • Friends of the Band        up to $99
  • Section Leaders             $100 to $249
  • Drum Majors                  $250 to $499
  • Conductors                    $500 to $999
  • Bandmasters                  $1,000 and above

Old Instruments Lying About the House?

Do you have congas in your cupboards?  Trumpets in your trunks?  Saxes on your shelves? Rest assured, Atlanta Freedom Bands is here to help!

Donate your unwanted instrument and receive a tax deduction for its value.  The Atlanta Freedom Bands often receives requests from new musicians who want to join but do not have an instrument. We’ll attend to any clean up and repairs then put your instrument in the hands of an eager musician.  Other instruments we may sell to help raise funds for AFB concerts and events. 

Either way, your donation will help the Atlanta Freedom Bands organization in its mission to represent Atlanta’s GLBT community in music.
